Virginia Tech & President Bush

As I am writing this I am watching the Virginia Tech Convocation. I was having a rough day, the girls weren't listening and just everything was going wrong. When the girls went down for nap I decided to watch TV and this came on. Wow, it put things in perspective for me, I am lucky to have a horrible day. My heart is breaking for all of families, students, faculity, and anyone involved in the horrible incident. I am praying for all of the people involved and I encourage you to do so as well.

While watching this I also realized just how proud I am to have President Bush and our president. He may make mistakes, afterall we all do no one is perfect except for Jesus, but I think he is such a compasionate president. During the ceremony today and young gentleman had a hard time, not really sure what happened, but President Bush turned around and helped the young man out and just kept touching him in a loving way. It just seemed so natural for him to do such a thing. I have heard countless people who have spoken with President Bush say he is one of the most compasionate people they have been around and that when they were with him, he made them feel like the only people in the world. I don't know why but I am so proud to call him President!

Prayers go out to Virginia Tech...May God provide you with healing and help you find courage and strength during this time of hurt and pain. I also pray that this incident brings people closer to God. AMEN
