The Jungle Gym

Today we took Emma to an open house at "The Jungle Gym" (warning: the web site isn't great). She's now enrolled for the 16 week semester and she gets to have 1 structured and 1 non-structured class per week. What is this, you ask? Well, it's pretty much like Gymboree. For those of you who still have no clue, they are age-appropriate movement classes where Emma gets to go play with other kids her age and learn new songs and dances and other fun stuff.

Our hope is that our kids turn out to be at least a little less introverted than we were in school. I feel like my younger years would have been better if I'd been better at meeting people and making new friends. Anyone have any input?

I am so excited for Emma and I am also hoping that it helps me get better at meeting new people. I still have issues with it :(

I say get her a little yellow stop watch. That worked for us! I still think you'll the coolest kid with that thing. This also sounds like a great chance for Emma and Casey.

I think the fact that you thought I was cool with that yellow stopwatch in first grade says less about making friends and being social and more about how wierd we both are. :-)
